Deion Sanders and Colorado are preparing for a critical weekend as seven top-tier 2026 recruits arrive in Boulder for official visits. Leading the group is 5-star offensive tackle Felix Ojo, ranked No. 7 nationally by 247Sports and considered the top overall prospect visiting.
At 6-foot-7, Ojo has garnered over 49 offers and plans additional visits to Oklahoma, Texas, Michigan and Ohio State.
Ojo isn’t coming alone. He’s joined by six 4-star recruits, including two fellow offensive linemen—Deacon Schmitt and Breck Kolojay. Schmitt, ranked No. 20 among interior offensive linemen and No. 2 in Colorado, holds 27 offers. Kolojay, who plays at IMG Academy, has 38 offers and is ranked just ahead of Schmitt at No. 19 nationally.
The Buffs are looking to strengthen their running game, and four-star running back KJ Edwards could be key. Ranked as the No. 2 running back in the 2026 class, Edwards holds 34 offers and has upcoming visits to Baylor and Texas. He currently has a crystal ball prediction to Texas, but Colorado is looking to make a strong impression.
“I feel like (Coach) Deion is changing the game over there at Colorado,” Ojo said, underscoring the program’s growing appeal.
