The 10th-ranked Miami Hurricanes are set to take on Texas A&M in their first-round playoff fixture at Kyle Field, Texas, this Saturday.
Ahead of this all-important playoff fixture, the ESPN College GameDay stationed in Texas today will continue with its tradition of a game day picker in the form of Oklahoma Thunder’s Alex Caruso alongside media personalities like Desmond Howard, Nick Saban, Pat McAfee, and Kirk Herbstreit.
However, former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel was initially slated to be the game-day picker instead of Caruso.
College GameDay said last night that Johnny Manziel would be today’s celebrity guest picker but now the graphic say it’s Alex Caruso. I wonder what happened there.

This prompted a lot of fans on X to come up with reasons and potential theories as to why Manziel was replaced on the show, whilst also trolling the former quarterback.
“Probably flew to Vegas in a wig and pretended to be Billy again”, wrote a fan.
“I’ll guess gambling and a hangover is what’s changed there minds”, said a fan.
“Friday night in College Station happened”, stated a fan.
“Not his fault. Until they move Saturday morning away from Friday night, he can’t be held responsible”, a sarcastic comment from a fan.
“Hard to wake up at 8am when you’re up all night”, remarked a fan.
“My money is on Johnny having a hell of a tailgate”, wrote another fan.
“Anyone check the overnight arrest registry?”, commented another fan.
“A fun friday out, I’d imagine. Caruso was only a quick flight away on an off day for the Thunder”, stated another fan.
Caruso has also played basketball for the Texas A&M Aggies from 2012 to 2016, averaging 8.0 points, 4.7 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 2.0 steals in 137 career game,s whilst also finishing as the school’s all‑time leader in assists and steals.
