College Football in November; the pads feel heavier, the tape thicker. Week 11 brings that stretch where seasons break one way or the other. Every locker room is feeling some sort of injury out before their Saturday matchups. Here’s where things stand heading into the weekend.

Week 11 Injury Report
1) Elijah Sarratt, WR, Indiana
Elijah Sarratt’s been the engine behind Indiana’s offense all fall, quietly stacking one reliable week after another. Now his hamstrings are acting up. While he iisted day-to-day, hamstrings rarely heal in a hurry. Penn State’s next on the schedule, but even without Sarratt, IU should be fine.
He is leading the Hoosiers in receptions and yards. If he can’t suit up, Indiana loses its one true coverage magnet. Its offense goes from unpredictable to much more predictable in a snap.
2) Whit Weeks, LB, LSU
The Tigers can’t catch a break on defense. Linebacker Whit Weeks remains doubtful against Alabama after missing two straight games with an ankle bone bruise. Pete Nakos from On3 also reported that it’s unlikely he’ll play. Weeks is one of the big leaders on an LSU team that has been absolutely struggling. Against Alabama’s run-heavy attack, his absence will hit even harder.
3) L.J. Martin, RB, BYU
Finally, some good news in Provo. L.J. Martin is back at practice. He got banged up in that Week 9 win over Iowa State, sat out a stretch, but according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, he’s trending toward playing against Texas Tech. For a Cougars team sitting in the middle of the postseason race, that’s massive.
4) Arch Manning, QB, Texas
The headline name of the week. Arch Manning’s been cleared. After days in concussion protocol, he practiced midweek and passed every test. By Friday, his name was gone from the SEC injury report.
He was a full go against No. 9 Vanderbilt and should be fine going forward. The injury came on the first snap of overtime in last week’s thriller vs. Mississippi State. Texas is still hanging on to playoff life, and Manning’s return changes everything.

5) Ben Brahmer, TE, Iowa State
Ben Brahmer collapsed late in the Cyclones’ game last week. Fortunately, he’s recovering and in good spirits. For now there is no timeline for his return. He will be out this weekend against TCU. While his absence will hurt, his recovery is far more important.
6) Isaac Brown, RB, Louisville
Louisville’s luck ran cold. Isaac Brown went down with a lower-leg injury in the win over Virginia Tech. Jeff Brohm said he’ll be “out a while.” Without him, the Cardinals have to lean heavier on the air game, which isn’t exactly how Brohm wants to close November.
7) Beau Pribula & Brett Norfleet, Missouri
Missouri’s dealing with both good and bad. QB Beau Pribula’s out again, but there is no surprise there. There is also tight end Brett Norfleet. If Norfleet plays, that’s at least one weapon back for an offense that’s been searching for rhythm. If not, Missouri might be grinding through another long Saturday against #3 Texas A&M.
Bottom Line
By this point in the season, depth is one of the most important factors for a playoff push. The November college football chaos is just starting to get going. Week 11 is shaping up to test every roster in the country; teams that are still standing by Sunday might be the ones that have enough.
