College football fans, it’s that time of the year again. The College Football Playoff Selection Committee will emerge from the Gaylord Texan Hotel in Grapevine to banish the AP Poll into irrelevance with the first edition of their playoff rankings. How To Watch the College Football Playoff Rankings Show

The College Football Playoff Rankings Show, Presented by Allstate, will air on ESPN on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 7 p.m. ET. As has become the norm for the rankings reveal, the show will be hosted by Rece Davis. The longtime anchor of college football on ESPN will be joined by Joey Galloway, Greg McElroy, and Booger McFarland to provide pre- and post-rankings studio analysis.

The first College Football Playoff Rankings show will also contain analysis from ESPN journalist Heather Dinich, while College Football Playoff Selection Committee chair Warde Manual will answer questions from the studio around the first edition of the rankings. There is heightened interest in the CFP rankings this year following the expansion of the tournament to 12 teams.

As usual, there are six editions of the College Football Playoff Rankings Show. In 2024, they start on Tuesday, Nov. 5, and run until “Selection Sunday” on Sunday, Dec. 8. In that final show, the 12 teams selected to the College Football Playoff and the bracket for the first round will be revealed, along with the bowl allocations for the rest of the postseason.
