The final three quarterfinal matchups kick off 2025 as the College Football Playoff marches on. You’ve come to the right place if you want to get in on Wednesday’s college football player props.
College Football Network has scoured the market, looking for advantages to help you win big. Whether you’re betting on the traditional sportsbooks or looking for that perfect player prop parlay, we’ve got you covered. Here are our best college football player prop bets for New Year’s Day 2025.
Wednesday College Football Player Props
Gunnar Helm 50+ Receiving Yards (+102)
The Texas Longhorns offense has undergone quite a transformation throughout the season. They are relying on the running game more than they did early in the year, and the Longhorns are also playing more to Quinn Ewers’ strengths as a passer. Gunnar Helm over the middle has been his bread and butter in recent weeks.
FanDuel gives us quite the value here, offering plus money on the number that all the other sites are handicapping at -120 or worse odds. It’s a number he’s eclipsed in three of the last four and one that I love to see such a disparity in the market.
Jeremiah Smith 100+ Receiving Yards (+215)
Special players show up in the biggest moments. And the Ohio State Buckeyes need their superstar freshman to show up in a big way. While Jeremiah Smith has produced consistently this season and flashed takeover potential, he hasn’t yet completely dominated a game.
I think that will change on Saturday. In a rematch of one of the best games of the year, expect Smith to cement his freshman legacy.
As a note, DraftKings has these +215 odds for Smith’s alternate over, but FanDuel has better odds for his standard over, giving customers a number that’s around 7% better for 70+ yards and 6% better for 80+ yards.
I’m willing to take on the extra risk for Smith to go over 100 yards.
Jeremiyah Love Anytime Touchdown (+105)
If you’re looking at player props for Wednesday’s final game, you might want to pick your favorite touchdown prop. The market is completely fractured on touchdown odds, differing by as much as 40% on some of the game’s top players, both for passing and anytime touchdown numbers.

I trust the most consistent offensive player in the game, Notre Dame Fighting Irish running back Jeremiyah Love. Plus odds to score on a guy who’s scored in 13-straight games? Sign me up. Especially in a game in which Notre Dame has an implied total in the 23-point range.
