College Football Player Props Today: Ethan Hampton, Parker Navarro, and More

Wednesday night MACtion is a three-game football feast, and Northern Illinois' Ethan Hampton leads the best college football player props available.

We dipped our toes in the MACtion waters last week, but a full slate of midweek mayhem is upon us in Week 12. There are three games on Wednesday, headlined by a clash between the Eastern Michigan Eagles and Ohio Bobcats that could have significant implications for the MAC Championship Game.

    Wednesday College Football Player Props

Ethan Hampton Over 13.5 Rushing Yards

I like this prop for a couple of reasons. First, Ethan Hampton is way more mobile than he’s been able to show this season and when he has gotten in the open field, he’s shown some nice speed.

Second, the Akron Zips’ pass rush is virtually non-existent. While Hampton’s total rushing yardage has been negatively impacted by sacks in recent weeks, he shouldn’t have to worry too much about that happening Wednesday. The Zips are 113th in sack percentage this season, and Hampton should be able to clear this mark.

Parker Navarro Under 192.5 Passing yards

The Ohio Bobcats have seemingly hit their stride in recent weeks, riding quarterback Parker Navarro’s legs to a strong offensive attack. He’s had a couple of explosive passing outbursts, but on a down-to-down basis, he hasn’t done a ton of damage through the air.

The Eastern Michigan Eagles’ defense isn’t great but has done well to prevent huge passing plays this year. Here’s to hoping the Bobcat offense opts to run the ball and control the clock in this one.

    Andre Johnson Anytime Touchdown

This is the type of “empty the bench” game that lends itself well to taking a long-shot touchdown bet on a backup. This game should be well in hand by halftime and Andre Johnson is a guy the Miami Redhawks coaching staff clearly wants to get involved, as he’s caught passes in four different games this season.

You can swap Johnson out for a guy like Kevin Davis if you’d prefer, but I like Johnson’s long-shot odds and think this is a great spot to make that type of bet.
