Bowl season rattles on this Friday with two non-playoff bowl games and the first of the first-round College Football Playoff matchups to cap a three-game slate. Following the two bowl games in the early slate, it’s the Notre Dame Fighting Irish hosting the Indiana Hoosiers in the first game of the 12-team College Football Playoffs.
Looking to cash in on the playoffs game but unsure of where to direct your hard-earned dollars? Step this way for the best college football player props for the playoffs.
Friday College Football Player Props
Riley Leonard 200+ Passing Yards (+130)
The Indiana Hoosiers run defense is one of the best in the country. As much as the Fighting Irish want to impose their will on the Indiana front, I think it’s going to take some more finesse. That means Riley Leonard will have to be more than a game-manager.
Weather shouldn’t be a factor and Leonard has shown the ability to make plays down the field when he has to. Against Indiana, he might have to, which should give him the chance to hit a higher passing total.
Parker Navarro 80+ Rushing Yards (+132)
This year’s Cure Bowl has the potential to be one of the most exciting games of bowl season, featuring two evenly matched teams. While the Bobcats are now heavy favorites, Parker Navarro’s rushing line hasn’t shifted significantly.
Navarro should be able to find space against the Jacksonville State Gamecocks’ rushing defense. When he gets going on the ground, he becomes a major factor, making his alternate rushing total an intriguing play on Saturday. If you’re betting player props for this game, many of the overs appear to hold strong value.
D.J. Lagway 3+ Passing TDs (+300)
The Gators aim to build momentum heading into the offseason, likely leaning on their top young talent. Freshman quarterback DJ Lagway could be a key factor, and there’s strong potential for him to throw a third touchdown as Florida looks to attack through the air.
