The drinks will flow on Monday night at the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. In a day when college sports are all about making big money, the drink concession appears to be kept at bay. Whether you are rooting for Ohio State or Notre Dame, you can still get a large domestic beer for under $10, with a mouth-watering menu of foods and drinks available at standard stadium prices.
How Much Is Food and Drink at the College Football National Championship Game?
One of the biggest ways to feel violated at a sporting event is to examine the concession stand prices. It’s straight economic principles of supply and demand. Plus, there is no alternative. However, the prices for drinks at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta are extremely reasonable for a college football national championship game setting.
Mercedes-Benz Stadium’s “Fan First Pricing” strategy has been in effect since the stadium opened in 2017. The atmosphere and pricing model continue to set the precedent for the ultimate fan experience.

The stadium posted its beverage menu on social media ahead of the college football national championship game. The prices are extremely reasonable. They sell $5 domestic draft beers and a larger one for $8.50. Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank has had this vision since the stadium opened in 2017.
Mercedes-Benz Stadium’s food and beverage experience offers a fan-first menu containing the following items and prices:
$2 – Non-alcoholic beverage products with unlimited free refills (at freestanding refill stations)
$2 – hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn
$3 – Dasani bottled water, pizza, nachos, fries
$5 – 12 oz. domestic beer
According to the Atlanta Falcons website, “This transformative pricing model and world-class menu options are available at all Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United games, as well as major events at Mercedes-Benz Stadium including the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, SEC Championship Game, the College Football National Championship (2025), FIFA World Cup 2026, concerts, and other ticketed events.”
“We’re incredibly proud to have ranked No. 1 in food and beverage in the NFL’s Voice of the Fan survey for the past seven years,” said Greg Beadles, President of the Atlanta Falcons, back in September. “Arthur’s leadership in prioritizing the fan experience is a hallmark of our organization.”
