Week 7 of the college football season is here, and it should be an exciting one. While there are byes every week, most top teams are in action. As a result, fans will have a full slate of exciting games on Saturday. However, there are still a few top teams that do not play this week. Here is a full list of the notable teams missing in action this week.

Ranked College Football Teams with a Bye In Week 7
Miami Hurricanes
The No. 2-ranked Miami Hurricanes have been one of the most dominant teams of the season this year. They are undefeated, winning their first five games. They have been helped by rest, as this will be the second time in three weeks that the Hurricanes are off. They are coming off a 28-22 win over No. 25-ranked Florida State and are back in action next week against Louisville.
Virginia Cavaliers
The No. 19-ranked Virginia Cavaliers have been a pleasant surprise this season. They have performed well, going 4-1 to start the year. They are coming off back-to-back overtime wins, including a 46-38 win over No. 25-ranked Florida State two weeks ago. They are back in action next week against Washington State.

Vanderbilt Commodores
The No. 20-ranked Vanderbilt Commodores did not pull off a win over Alabama last week like they did last year. Despite that, they have still established themself as a competitive team, winning their first five games of the season. They are off this week before getting back in action against No. 11-ranked LSU next weekend.
Memphis Tigers
The No. 23-ranked Memphis Tigers have emerged as a top contender in the AAC this season. They have won six games to start the season and will get a break this week before playing UAB next weekend.
