Week 6 of the college football season is here, and conference play is underway. In the coming weeks, fans will find out which teams will emerge as true contenders in all of the Power Four conferences. It is also the part of the season where many teams have byes each week. Here is a look at all the notable teams with byes in Week 6.

Ranked College Football Teams With A Bye In Week 6
Oregon Ducks
No. 2-ranked Oregon has emerged as a contender again this season. After defeating No. 7-ranked Penn State in overtime last week, the Ducks have a bye this week before their game against No. 8-ranked Indiana next week.
Ole Miss Rebels
No. 4-ranked Ole Miss established itself as a contender last week with a 24-19 win over No. 13-ranked LSU. The team will now have some time to rest before its next matchup against Washington State next week.
Indiana Hoosiers
No. 8-ranked Indiana is coming off a 20-15 win over Iowa. The team will have some time to rest this week before its biggest test of the season against Oregon next week.
LSU Tigers
No. 13-ranked LSU suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday against Ole Miss. It will now have time to regroup before playing South Carolina next week.
Tennessee Volunteers
No. 15-ranked Tennessee was not at its best last week when it narrowly defeated Mississippi State 41-34 in overtime on Saturday. The team will now have time to rest before playing Arkansas next week.
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
After narrowly defeating Wake Forest 30-29 in overtime on Saturday, No. 17-ranked Georgia Tech could use some rest. It will get that time this week before playing Virginia Tech in Week 7.
Missouri Tigers
No. 19-ranked Missouri has had an incredible start to the season. It will now get a bye week before its first big test of the season against No. 10-ranked Alabama next week.
Arizona State Sun Devils
No. 25-ranked Arizona State looks like a contender in the Big 12 again this year. It has a bye this week before an important conference game against Utah next week.
