Dominique Wheeler, wife of Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Zack Wheeler, lit up social media with her latest Instagram story. She was seen lounging outdoors, enjoying a sunny afternoon in a stylish polka dot bikini.
Dominique’s look look was completed with delicate jewelry, including a pearl necklace and matching bracelet, pieces credited to Material Good. The story quickly gained traction when Teresa Panico, the brand’s Director of Marketing and Fine Jewelry, reposted it with the caption “CLIENT LOVE,” highlighting Dominique as one of their featured clients.

Beyond her social media presence, Dominique has built a name for herself as a supportive partner and devoted mother. She and Zack Wheeler first crossed in 2016, and got engaged and married in 2018 and 2019, respectively.
Since marriage, the couple has grown their family quickly. They are now parents to four children, including their youngest, daughter Goldie, who was born in June 2025. Their family also includes son Wesley, born in 2020, and daughters Bambi and Winter, born in 2022 and 2024, respectively.
Zack Wheeler has been a cornerstone of the Phillies’ pitching rotation since joining the team in 2020. The right-hander has consistently delivered strong seasons, including multiple All-Star appearances and a reputation as one of MLB’s most reliable arms.
Wheeler has been out of action since mid-August. His season has been cut short after the team discovered a blood clot near his throwing shoulder. Even though the clot has been removed, he will need another surgery for proper treatment.
Phillies Manager Rob Thomson Gave an Update on Zack Wheeler’s Surgery
In August, Zack Wheeler posted a note on Instagram for the Philly fans. He informed them that he will have to undergo surgery for his shoulder and he will be back in 2026. So far, no date has been set for the surgery.
When manager Rob Thomson was asked about the same, he stated that he doesn’t have a clear timeline yet. Thomson revealed that Wheeler is doing great and the entire team is in good spirit but he has no idea about the date of the surgery.
“I think he’s feeling fine,” Thomson said. “He’s in good spirits. Obviously, he wants to be a part of the club and pitch and do all that, but he understands how important this procedure will be.”
When asked if some additional problems are delaying the surgery, Thomson said:
“I think there’s some reasons in there. I think there’s blood thinners, I don’t know exactly but there’s a reason why they have to wait.”
There is not yet a set date for Zack Wheeler’s thoracic outlet decompression surgery.
