Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes’ girlfriend Olivia Dunne’s latest adventure has brought her to Taormina, Sicily, where she is spending time in timeless Mediterranean charm. The former LSU gymnast is on a break and recently dropped photos from her vacation.
In one photo, Dunne is standing on a balcony and is captured from behind overlooking the blue waters of the Mediterranean. She’s wearing a strapless white crochet dress against the sun-soaked backdrop. Her hair is styled in a ponytail. In another picture she shared, Dunne seems to have visited a vineyard marked “The White Lotus.” It’s a nod to the HBO hit series whose second season was filmed in Sicily.
Dunne was recently in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, visiting her alma mater LSU. In her trip, she visited the LSU gym, where she performed the last five years. With Skenes, she also went on a date night and over the weekend, she was at Tiger Stadium to see LSU defeat South Carolina and improve to 5-1 on the season.
Olivia Dunne Once Shared What She Loves About Paul Skenes
Olivia Dunne has been dating Paul Skenes since he led the LSU to College World Series before being picked first overall in the 2023 MLB draft. Skenes has since made his debut for the Pirates last year in May and even ended his rookie season with an All-Star selection and winning the NL Rookie of the Year over San Diego Padres slugger Jackson Merrill and Milwaukee Brewers star Jackson Chourio.
In March 2024, Dunne shared what she loves about the ace, who just completed his second season in the majors.
“He’s pretty level headed all the time — that’s what I love about him — and I think we’re a really good pair because of that,” Dunne said via On3. Because I have such a crazy lifestyle and things get thrown my way all the time. Sometimes, my emotions can sway and he’s very level, and I just think it’s a very good match.
“He just left for spring training and it’s going great. He’s about to debut in a spring training game today. Really hoping I get to watch!”
Dunne and Skenes will likely be together when MLB announces this year’s NL Cy Young winner. Skenes is among the favorites to take home the award.
