Olivia Dunne is enjoying her time away from her boyfriend, Paul Skenes, as she is on a bachelorette trip with friends in Hawaii. The former LSU gymnastics standout is dating Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher and Cy Young winner, Skenes, and while they have made no announcements of an engagement, the couple has been supporting each other while purchasing properties.
Dunne and Skenes met each other at LSU, where the pitcher was also a student athlete. Both of them had successful college careers at Baton Rouge, winning national titles in their respective disciplines.
Dunne was also the female face of the NIL revolution, becoming the highest-valued female student-athlete during her college years, with $4.1 million in brand endorsements. Although not the most important member of LSU’s gymnastics squad, she was the most well-known through her use of social media.

Dunne has used part of that wealth to invest in real estate, recently buying a property in Jupiter, Florida, and an apartment in New York City.
Olivia Dunne Weighs In On College Fame
Dunne would be the first to admit that fame came to her all of a sudden when she was in college, and that at first, it was a bit daunting.
In January this year, she told ESPN:
“I struggled, especially at first, with the amount of eyes on me. I was 18 years old when everything changed, and I felt like I couldn’t breathe. I felt like I couldn’t make a mistake. But something you learn on social media is you will get hate and you will get people that are bitter towards you, especially when you have success.”
“But I think that having the eyes on me has been such a blessing in my life, and I feel like it’s translated over into eyes on the sport of gymnastics, which was a huge deal to me and a huge reason why I kept coming back for more. … Watching the growth of the sport, and women’s sports overall, has meant so much to me,” she added.
However, she now seems to have a complete grasp of the situation. Dunne turned what was a daunting situation into a profitable lifestyle that might provide for her for the rest of her life.
