Olivia Dunne is making waves far beyond the gymnastics floor. The former LSU star is stepping firmly into the spotlight of fashion and media after her LSU stint. Her latest appearance at New York Fashion Week turned plenty of heads as she stunned in a dazzling powder blue dress.
The dress featured delicate straps, a plunging neckline, and a bow accent at the center. Dunne, who is dating Paul Skenes, completed the look with strappy nude heels, showing off a polished sense of style that fits right in at one of the world’s most glamorous events.
This wasn’t just another public appearance for Dunne. She’s no longer simply an athlete tied to her time at LSU. Instead, she’s carving out her identity as a media personality, fashion figure, and cultural presence. She shared multiple pictures of herself in the dress on her IG story.

Dunne’s Fashion Week moment comes shortly after she walked the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards, another high-profile stage. These appearances highlight the trajectory of someone making smooth moves from sports into mainstream culture.

Olivia Dunne’s evolution is more than just about appearances, it’s about opportunity. From her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit feature to her expanding social media presence, she’s building a brand that goes well beyond gymnastics.

Paige Spiranac Helped Olivia Dunne Navigate the World of Social Media
Olivia Dunne boasts a huge social media following. Currently, she has over 5.4 million followers on Instagram alone. That’s more than a majority of athletes in the MLB, NFL, and NBA. A social media presence so strong comes with its unique set of problems, one that no one teaches how to deal with.
For Dunne, it was a real struggle in the beginning. Trying to figure out how to deal with the negativity online wasn’t easy, especially at such a young age. During her interview with SI in 2023, Dunne revealed how Paige Spiranac helped her deal with it.
“People always comment stuff that they would never say to your face, so part of it is just having developed tough skin. Social media is hard,” Dunne told SI.
“That’s something that Paige Spiranac helped me with, just keeping certain parts of your life private,” Dunne added. “Making sure not to post things that, you know, maybe you don’t want people’s feedback on.”
Olivia Dunne now has much better clarity on parts of her life that she can share online. Dunne also understands how to deal with the negativity better than before, as a result, she continues to do bigger and better things.
