Since the end of her collegiate gymnastics career at LSU, Olivia Dunne has transitioned into modeling and social media influencer. Not that it was any difficult for her, as the national gymnastics champion was already the poster girl for the NIL generation, being one of the highest valued student-athletes in the first half of the 2020s.
The fact that she paired up with fellow LSU student-athlete-turned Cy Young Award-winner, Paul Skenes, has just helped propel her post-college career to a new high. This star power has continued following her departure from Baton Rouge. In 2025, she was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.
In celebration of this milestone, the magazine included her in their end-of-the-year farewell reel.

She was featured alongside 19 other models, including Christen Goff (Jared Goff’s wife), Camille Kostek (Rob Gronkowski’s girlfriend), WNBA star Cameron Brink, and Olympic medalist Ilona Maher.
Olivia Dunne on Being a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Cover Model
When Olivia Dunne had her photoshoot with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, she didn’t know that she would end up being one of this year’s cover girls. It wasn’t until May that they broke the news to her, and they did it through a ruse. While on vacation with her family in Florida, the magazine proposed a follow-up interview with her about the photoshoot.
It was then that they told her she would be a cover model.
“Are you kidding me? Thank you so much. Oh my god, MJ, this is a dream come true,” Dunne gushed with small tears of joy forming in her eyes. “I can’t believe it. Oh my god. That photo is so good. That is crazy, I am a Sports Illustrated Swimsuitcover model. This bikini … this was the one. I felt like such a baddie in it. This is the best day of my life. This is so exciting.”
It seems like the former LSU gymnast has managed to build upon her athletic career to create a successful modeling and social media career, which she now pairs with the perks of being the girlfriend of one of MLB’s best pitchers.
