Pittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Paul Skenes‘ girlfriend, Olivia Dunne, seemingly made a new friend while sunbathing by the pool at her home in Florida. On Saturday, Nov. 8, the former LSU Tigers gymnastics star took to her Instagram story to upload a photo of herself in a bikini. She was soaking in the sun by the pool of her new home while being accompanied by a furry friend.
The friend in question is a cute black dog, who was seen sitting on top of her stomach. The 23-year-old was in her two-piece, blue bikini. She also wore a bright red sun visor. Dunne took a selfie with the dog while lying down at one of the loungers by her pool.
With this, Dunne decided to have a little fun, as she included a hilarious caption to the upload while confirming the location of her new home. Dunne used a three-word caption and tagged her actual pet dog with Skenes, Roux, for whom they have made an Instagram account as well. It has even grown to about 19.1k followers. The caption is presumably to tease Roux that Dunne is with another dog.
“Don’t tell @thatgirlroux,” Dunne captioned.
While Dunne is enjoying her time with dogs while taking in the bright sun at her home, Skenes is coming off his second stint in Major League Baseball with manager Don Kelly’s Pirates. They recently finished the 2025 season with an overall record of 71-91, placing them as the No. 5 seed in the NL Central. Skenes and company, despite their efforts, were unable to make it into this year’s postseason play.

Olivia Dunne Also Posted A Hilarious Conversation Between Paul Skenes And Herself About The Dog
In the next photo uploaded by Olivia Dunne to her Instagram stories, she took a screenshot of the iMessage conversation she had with Paul Skenes with the aforementioned black dog.
Dunne received a photo from Skenes wherein she is already lying down prone, and the dog is over her. Skenes asked her how that happened, with Dunne exclaiming that she has no idea.
