Pittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Paul Skenes recently saw his girlfriend turn heads with her look for the 2025 MTV Music Video Awards. On Sunday, Sept. 7, former LSU Tigers gymnastics star Livvy Dunne showed photos of her all-black, sleek look for this year’s VMAs, wherein she was a guest for the annual music awards show.
Dunne used her Instagram account to upload stories of her look, which was topped with a black, crop-top blazer and a black tube-top underneath. This is then followed by a pair of tight, velvet black pants and matching close-toed black heels. Dunne finishes her outfit with a black clutch bag and minimalist accessories as her blonde her shines from the dazzling dark fit.

Dunne first posted a selfie to her Instagram story, wherein she was presumably in a car on her way to this year’s VMAs in the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. She then included a caption to confirm her guesting, writing, “@vmas tonight,” with a white-heart emoji.
Dunne’s next Instagram story includes her standing by a balcony, as her full outfit is shown, with her posing boldly while standing. “@dolcegabbana @sarahslutsky @jimmychoo @marie_mas_jewelry @nicolerosejewelry @saidianvintagejewels,” Dunne captioned in what looks to be the brands that make up her outfit.
In the next photo posted by Dunne on her Instagram story, she is standing by the sidewalk of a brick road. This time, the former college gymnastics sensation is showing off her bright, blonde hair as she said, “Rapunzel hair @adammaclay,” with an emoji.
Dunne is currently enjoying her time post-college gymnastics as she finished off her five-year tenure with the Tigers back in the 2024-25 season, and announced her retirement back on April 17. For her time, Dunne was best known for her dominance in the SEC, as well as becoming a national champion in the 2023-24 campaign by winning it all with her LSU squad in Fort Worth, Texas.
More recently, she has also made rounds of appearances during her boyfriend’s, Paul Skenes, Pittsburgh baseball games. Skenes is uncorking his second season in the MLB after a lengthy college baseball career.

Along with photos of herself and her all-black outfit, Livvy Dunne also included a snap of her and her elder sister, Julz, riding the SUV that will take them to the 2025 VMAs. Julz Dunne is seen posing with her all-violet dress, bedazzled with sequins, as she matches it up with a bright silver pair of open-toed heels and a silver purse. “@julzdunne partner in crime,” Dunne shared.
