Alex Rodriguez is hard at work covering the MLB postseason for Fox, alongside fellow studio analysts and retired MLB stars Derek Jeter and David Ortiz. However, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have time to hang out with his partner, Jaclyn Cordeiro.
On Tuesday night, the influencer shared a picture of herself and A-Rod walking down a street to a sunset. She can be seen wearing jeans and a green t-shirt, while the former New York Yankee is shown in an all-black outfit consisting of a sweater and jeans.
Cordeiro and Rodriguez have been allegedly dating since October 2022, with their relationship becoming public in December of the same year. The former MLB player had another brief relationship in that year, with another health coach named Kathryne Padgett. Before that, he had been in a long-term relationship with singer and actress Jennifer Lopez between 2017 and 2021. They even got engaged in 2019 and were scheduled to get married in 2020, but the wedding was postponed due to COVID-19. It eventually got called off when the couple decided to part ways and remain as “friends”.
Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter React to Big Papi’s “Comeback Crew” Recommendation For The Yankees
A funny moment occurred on Sunday’s postgame coverage of the Divisional American League Series between the New York Yankees and the Toronto Blue Jays. When Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter were dissecting the meaning of the 13-7 defeat by the Yankees, and finding some glimmer of hope to which their former team could cling, former Boston Red Sox David Ortiz interrupted them to troll them.

Ortiz, better known as Big Papi, started to joke that the only way the Yankees could turn around this series, after giving up 23 runs in the first two games, was if Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter, Andy Pettitte, and Mariano Rivera were to unretire and play. Wanting to paint a clearer picture of the precarious situation New York was in, he kept naming retired and even dead players.
“I love you so much, but the only chance that the Yankees has is if you (Derek Jeter), Mo (Mariano Rivera), Andy (Pettite), and A-Rod come back and play. Reggie Jackson, Babe Ruth, all of them. Joe DiMaggio, Roger Maris.”
When attempting to ask a question, Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter couldn’t help but burst out laughing as they heard their names alongside the names of long-gone legends like Babe Ruth and Joe DiMaggio.
“Jesus” Said Alex Rodriguez
Further on, Ortiz went on to say that even if Jesus Christ came back to life, the Yankees would find themselves in Cancun at the end of the month, meaning they would be out of the race for the World Series. He also stated that if Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who scored the key grand slam on Sunday, were to play all 162 games against the Yankees, he would be the MVP of the American League.

The joke was taken to its ultimate level when the Fox production team helped Big Papi come up with a presentation of his series “Comeback Crew” to show to Jeter and Rodriguez. The lineup included Joe DiMaggio in left field, Mickey Mantle in center field, Babe Ruth in right field, Don Mattingly at first base, Phil Rizzuto at second base, Derek Jeter at shortstop, Alex Rodriguez at third base, Whitey Ford as the starting pitcher, Yogi Berra at the plate, and Lou Gehrig as the designated hitter.
For Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez’s sake, the Yankees managed to pull off a win on Tuesday, 9-6, at Yankee Stadium, which extended the series to at least one more game
