The MLB season is done, and Adrián Morejon’s wife seems to be enjoying the time away from the ballparks. In her most recent set of Instagram stories, Melany Morejon posted a series of pictures of herself at the beach, enjoying surfing and sun tanning.
The first picture shows her from the back, wearing a floral one-piece swimsuit and holding a surfboard over her head. In other pictures, it’s clear she was wearing a San Diego cap. The first picture included the following caption:
“I’m from here, can’t you tell?!”
Morejon is a 26-year-old Cuban pitcher who’s in his seventh season with the San Diego Padres. 2025 was a breakthrough year for him, having been named to the MLB All-Star Game for the first time in his career.
This season, he had a 13-6 win/loss record, with a 2.08 earned run average. He struck out 70 batters.
Not much is known of Melany, beyond her connection to Adrián Morejon. The story of how they met isn’t public either.

Regardless of the lack of public details about her life and how she met Adrián Morejon, it’s pretty clear she’s very involved in supporting the pitcher’s career. During the MLB All-Star Game week, she posted a reel showing her getting ready for the week’s events.

Her makeup artist also published the reel to her account, and described Melany as follows in the caption:
“You can always count on @melanymqz to show up and show out 🔥 All Star Week was a blast, but the schedules were insane & jam packed from start to finish! Watching these women show up, show out, behind the scenes and on the red carpet was truly inspiring 💫”
Her Instagram is filled with other instances of her showing up in San Diego Padres apparel, supporting Morejon. What does come through her profile is that she’s likely of Hispanic heritage, as she’s comfortable using Spanish to respond to some messages.
