Deiondra Sanders asks Coach Prime to grow old to teach her son Snow football
Coach Prime recently revealed that he spent the better part of the spring and summer recovering from a bladder tumor removal surgery, which freed him of cancer. While he spent most of that time out of the public eye, that didn’t mean the period wasn’t recorded for posterity by his kids.

In a series of pictures that Deiondra Sanders posted to her son’s Instagram account, Snow can be seen hanging with his grandfather days after his surgery. In a touching moment, Deiondra, acting as a surrogate speaker for her toddler, asked Deion Sanders to get better so he could teach Snow football:
“Love you PaPa! Thanks for always playing with me even though you were going thru a lot. I am glad you are healing. You have to grow old to teach me football, everything else and be hard on me like you were on my mommy, except I won’t quit. lol Even though your diapers get fuller quicker than mine now I still will fall asleep with you any day. Love you Papa Prime @deionsanders 🙏🏾”
Deion Sanders’ bladder cancer was revealed through regular CT scans he gets every year to check on vascular issues and blood clots he gets in his legs. Early diagnosis was key in Coach Prime’s case to cure the condition.
