Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders, also known as Coach Prime, is known for his success on the football field. Before he turned around the Colorado Buffaloes football program, he was a superstar in the NFL. However, despite all his success on the football field, he has been just as successful in his personal life. Sanders has built an incredible family with many children through his two marriages.
Coach Prime’s first child from his first marriage is his daughter, Deiondra Sanders. Deiondra is often active on social media, posting photos of herself and her son, Snow. However, on Wednesday, she posted a few photos on Instagram of just herself. The photos showcase Deiondra Sanders before she starts a tennis session while wearing a lavender colored tennis outfit.
“Let’s play,” Deiondra Sanders wrote.

Deiondra Sanders is one of Sanders’ two children from his first marriage, and one of two daughters among his five children. She is the only one of Coach Prime’s children to have a child of their own so far. She gave birth to her son, and Coach Prime’s first grandchild, in August 2024.
Deion Sanders appears to love being around his new grandson. In a photo posted to his Instagram account on June 13, Coach Prime can be seen smiling as his grandson plays in a sink full of water.
“Snows face says it all! God is so good!” Deion Sanders wrote.

Coach Prime Has 5 Children From 2 Marriages
Coach Prime is not married anymore, but he was previously married twice, having five children. Sanders was married from 1989 to 1998 to Carolyn Chambers, his first marriage. Together, the couple had Deiondra Sanders and Deion Sanders Jr. After their divorce, Coach Prime married Pilar Sanders, with whom he remained married until 2015. Three children came of this marriage: Shilo Sanders, Shedeur Sanders, and Shelomi Sanders.
Shedeur and Shilo were members of the Colorado Buffaloes under Deion Sanders last season. However, neither will be back for the 2025 season as they are starting their NFL careers. Quarterback Shedeur Sanders was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL draft. This happened after a huge draft fall. He was originally projected to be a first-round pick.
Safety Shilo Sanders was not selected in the draft but was quickly signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent.
