Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders, also known as Coach Prime, spends most of his time focused on football. Whether it is watching as his sons start their NFL careers or preparing the Buffaloes for the 2025 college football season, football takes up a lot of his energy. However, that is not the case for every member of his family.
Coach Prime’s eldest daughter, Deiondra Sanders, does not involve herself with the football field as much. Despite that, she has a special place in his heart, partially because she gave him his first grandchild, Snow. He was born on Aug. 9, 2024, and shares a birthday with his grandfather.
On Friday, Deiondra Sanders the birthday celebrations for her son, posting a few images from his birthday trip on her Instagram story. In the first photo, Snow appeared to be a little tired, possibly from partying too much.
“Snow tapping out lol,” Deiondra Sanders wrote.

In the next post, Deiondra Sanders posted a video of herself posing in a blue bikini and high ponytail.

Coach Prime’s Daughter Deiondra Shows Support for Shedeur Sanders in His NFL Debut
This weekend has been a big one for Coach Prime’s family for many reasons. His daughter celebrated the first birthday of her son on Saturday. While that is a big event, there was something else that happened that could have been an even bigger deal. On Friday, Shedeur Sanders made his NFL debut, starting for the Cleveland Browns in a preseason clash with the Carolina Panthers.
Despite being the fourth-string QB, Shedeur got the start in the first game of the preseason for the Browns. Part of the reason for this was the fact that QBs Kenny Pickett and Dillon Gabriel were both nursing injuries. As a result, Shedeur Sanders got a big opportunity. He did not squander it, performing well and grabbing the attention of the football world.
During the game on Friday night, Deiondra Sanders reposted an Instagram post to her Instagram story with a caption that encapsulated her feelings and the rest of the Sanders family.
“No 12 slander will be tolerated.”

After the game, Shedeur Sanders spoke about his performance but stayed humble.
“I’m comfortable with being uncomfortable, so that’s what it is,” Shedeur Sanders said. “I got pockets of finding my rhythm, and I got to get into that quicker, regardless of anything. But overall, I felt like me out there, and I couldn’t do it, of course, without the time. I couldn’t do it without the playcalling. I couldn’t do without anything.
“Did I play up to par? No, I don’t feel like I did. But overall, the main goal was to win, and that’s honestly what we did.”
