Shedeur Sanders will have his sister Shelomi Sanders cheering for him when he starts for the Cleveland Browns as the starting quarterback in their preseason opener against the Carolina Panthers. The preseason clash will take place on Friday at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
On Thursday, Shelomi posted an Instagram story where she refers to Shedeur as “boss mannn” while promoting his first preseason game of the NFL. She reposted a graphic from Browns’ Instagram account where it mentions that the game will start at 7 pm.

This will be an important game for Sanders, as he’s expected to share the snaps with Browns’ new QB signee and former All-Pro Tyler Huntley. Other Browns quarterbacks, fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel and veteran Kenny Pickett, won’t participate in this preseason action due to hamstring injuries. Meanwhile, Joe Flacco, who is expected to be the Browns’ QB1 this season, will be rested for this game.
Sanders, who is in a tough fight to make the cut in the final roster, will need to bring his top game like he used to do for the Colorado Buffaloes last season.
Shedeur Sanders and Shelomi Sanders are both children of Deion Sanders and his ex-wife Pilar Sanders. Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Shilo Sanders is their brother, while Deion Sanders Jr. and Deiondra Sanders are their half-siblings.

Shedeur Sanders And Shilo Sanders Were Kept In The Dark Regarding Deion Sanders’ Bladder Surgery
Earlier this summer, Deion Sanders was told by his doctors that he needs a bladder removal surgery. The Buffaloes’ head coach had the surgery done as his bladder was removed and replaced by a new one formed through his intestine.
All this while, Sanders chose not to tell his NFL sons, Shedeur Sanders and Shilo Sanders. This is because Coach Prime didn’t want them to get distracted and wanted them to try hard to make their respective NFL teams.
“I just told them it’s something with my foot,” Sanders said in a press conference last month.

“The process wasn’t easy,” Sanders said. “My sons to this day don’t know what’s transpired. I wanted them to really focus on making the team.”
Meanwhile, Coach Prime’s other children, including Shelomi and Deiondra Sanders, didn’t leave Deion’s side after discovering his cancer.
Earlier, when Shedeur was asked if he would like to invite his father, Deion Sanders, to one of his training camps, the Browns quarterback said he hasn’t done enough to make him proud.
