Coach Prime Reveals Travis Hunter And Shedeur Sanders Replacement Plan Under Pat Shurmur

Deion Sanders had to start this season almost from scratch. His star-studded roster of previous seasons, which included Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter, Cam’Ron Silmon-Craig, and others, broke up as the players advanced to the NFL.

But Coach Prime is known for making miracles happen, and he is expected to do the same this season as well. On a recent episode of “Coach Prime’s Playbook,” Sanders was asked about his process of rebuilding.

The reason why it’s such a big question is that these players weren’t just his best performers; they also had leadership roles in the team. In a way, Sanders’ Buffaloes empire would now be built back from scratch.

Sanders said that looking back at his success, he can try to emulate what he did with the team in recent years, and that’ll get him similar results.

“You can’t imitate, but you can emulate those type of guys and what they had,” Coach Prime said.

“What did Cam Silmon have? He was a tall man. He worked hard every practice. He wanted it. And you go try to find those type of guys. You got to have two guys to find Travis, you know that, but it’s some of the other guys you try to emulate and emulate what they brought to the table and bring it in here.”

Even though losing three key players is huge and can affect any coach, Sanders is confident that he can replicate the success of his past teams. What works brilliantly in his favor here is that the ‘Coach Prime Playbook’ has had a real effect on his career.

While most pundits aren’t thinking much of the Buffaloes this season because they’re in a rebuilding process, it wouldn’t be a complete shock if the coaching staff of Coach Prime, Pat Shurmur, and more manage to pull off another spectacular season.

Coach Prime is very happy with the new group of players

Sanders runs a tight ship. His team is guided by his relentless discipline, strict routines, and complete focus. As tough as he is on his players for their benefit, Coach Prime showers them with praise when they do something worthy of his compliment.

He believes that the group he has for the season is full of dedicated players. He is proud of them for their discipline and growth over time. Sanders praised the new group during his conversation with Romi Bean.

“I’m proud of them academically,” Coach Prime said. “I’m proud of them physically, emotionally, psychologically. I’m just proud of what they’re doing. There ain’t too much bullying going on around here.”

Sanders stated that his players are well disciplined, and they don’t tend to miss breakfasts or weigh-ins. Being on time and being punctual is one way to win him over, and the players have managed to do that so far.

He also said that the players already know what to expect when they’re in a Coach Prime camp. Being disciplined when someone goes off track is part of the process, so when the time comes, he believes they’ll be ready for it too.
