Deiondra Sanders tugged at heartstrings across social media when she commemorated her father’s 58th birthday with an emotional message. The eldest daughter of Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders, Deiondra took to Instagram to recognize the NFL great.
In her Instagram story, she shared a beautiful photograph of the beach where the pair were smiling together. Deiondra wore a bright pink outfit and her dad wore a red “Well Off” t-shirt and matching shorts.
“Happy birthday daddy! @deionsanders! Thank you for being the prime example of a man,” Deiondra wrote in her heartfelt caption.
“Thank you for all you do for everyone and us. I love you!” she added.
The timing of this birthday wish means even more with Coach Prime’s recent health ordeal. Earlier this year in 2025, the legendary player had bladder-removal surgery following a diagnosis with high-grade bladder cancer. The medical team since then has pronounced him totally cured with the successful procedure.
Deiondra Sanders has found her own successful way. The 33-year-old businesswoman operates LoveMe Extensions, her hair extension company, and has a large online presence with thousands of followers.
Deiondra is also active with some outreach in the community in conjunction with family members. These charitable endeavors illustrated some of the values Deion gave to his children about serving their communities.

Coach Prime has resumed his coaching duties at Colorado
Deion Sanders has demonstrated incredible strength while going through his recovery phase. He resumed his coaching role at the University of Colorado and has been taking a mile every day around campus after practice.
Now that Colorado is preparing for the next chapter of football, Coach Prime is navigating the realm of professional commitments while still taking the time to enjoy family celebrations like birthday parties.
Coach Prime goes into the 2025 season with a really strong coaching support staff. With the likes of Pat Shurmur and Robert Livingston being the Offensive and Defensive Coordinator’s respectively, the Buffaloes will look to have a fruitful campaign commencing later this month.
