Amid all the speculations, his son, Deion Sanders Jr., recently gave an update on his father’s health. In a video uploaded to the Well Off Forever Instagram account, Sanders Jr. had a wholesome message for his father. He said:
“When he told me to document the whole thing. At first, while I was there with him, I’m like, ‘Bro, I just want to be there as your son. I don’t really…want to document, bro. I just want to be there for you.’”

Sanders Jr. said that the world will get to hear the full story via a press conference that Coach Prime is about to do. The Sanders family understands that there has been a lot of conjecture surrounding his health and his future in Colorado. He said:
“Right now I just posted something on my dad’s page. That’s a little bit of what he went through, a little sample. And tomorrow he’s having a press conference and that’s when y’all gon’ really see a lot of it after the press conference is over with.”

In a video uploaded on Well Off Media on YouTube, Coach Prime can be seen talking about his recent health struggles. The 57-year-old, who is usually full of energy and passion, was seemingly dejected because of his health issues. Sanders said that the scariest part for him was the thought that he might not be there tomorrow. He said:
“I don’t know if I’m ready mentally, emotionally. Last night was tough. Yesterday was tough because I had to make a will. It’s just not easy at all to think that you may not be here but you want to make sure everybody’s straight.” (3:19)
Sanders has had a long history of health problems. But in most cases, he quickly bounced back after proper medical care. However, in this case, it kept him away from the game and forced secrecy upon him.
