“Dumbest Play Call In All History”: Cincinnati’s Strange Decision vs Dylan Raiola’s Nebraska Called Out By Fans

The Cincinnati Bearcats are being said to have made the “dumbest play call in all history” after Nebraska’s junior defensive back Malcolm Hartzog Jr. intercepted Cincinnati QB Brendan Sorsby in the end zone with 34 seconds left, sealing a dramatic 20-17 Nebraska victory.

Instead of making a 10-yard play and leaving the fate in the hands of their kicker to make good on the field goal and tie the game, Cincinnati went for the Hail Mary and found Hartzog Jr. leaping for an interception near the end zone.

College football fans are now calling out the play as they find it hilarious that someone would pass on the opportunity to tie for something that uncertain. Since the lead was only 3 points, a field goal from the kicker should have been the best decision there. But they risked it and have now paid the price.

“Dumbest play call in all of history!!!! Lilly just do another 10 yard play to make it easier for your kicker, then go to overtime,” one fan said.

“That was a pretty stupid shot to take there, especially since he hadn’t been throwing that well. They were in FG range to tie it,” another fan added.

    “Denied!!!!! 😅😂🤣✌️👍” one fan said.

“This team has a lot of work to do—as usual 😬” another fan wrote.

“What made him think to just throw it up😹” another fan asked.

“Serby or what ever dude name is , is a fukn bum… +600 with 1:30 left and he does this ?…. after all them sequences of events that lead them just outside of fg range ?” another fan added.
