The connections that occur within the San Francisco 49ers undeniably run far deeper than the game itself. This was demonstrated again recently through a social media exchange that included Olivia Culpo, the wife of running back Christian McCaffrey, and Kristin Juszczyk, the wife of full back Kyle Juszczyk.
Recently a video was posted on the official Instagram page of the 49ers, showing McCaffrey and Juszczyk sharing a light moment in the video where they were playfully bumping each other’s shoulder in a unique greeting, which almost looked like a customized handshake.

Kristin Juszczyk clearly saw the fun in the video and quickly shared and reposted the reel to her Instagram story and tagged McCaffrey’s wife, asking in a simple message, “@oliviaculpo is this our new handshake?.”
The response from Olivia Culpo was immediate as she shared and reposted Kristin’s story to her profile with a reply that was simply one word, and the letters were spelled out “Y E S.”
This simple interaction highlights the camaraderie shared between these two families off the field.

At the 49ers’ Week 1 game this season, Kristin Juszczyk was hard to miss. Her custom, ultra-cropped off-the-shoulder top showed all the great elements of sporty style. Her look exploded on social media as her original sideline style seemed very creative. She is also the co-founder of Off Season, a sporting apparel label. Recently, they sold WNBA apparel as well as NFL merchandise.
Meanwhile, the 49ers cut her husband Kyle for a short time in the offseason, before resigning him. Kyle was named one of the eight team captains for the current season. Their relationship has shown dynamic and playful social media interaction. Kyle’s comments on her outfits have won the hearts of fans.
Olivia Culpo is turning the page onto a new chapter of her life and just recently, she and Christian McCaffrey welcomed their child in July 2025. The couple have shared beloved posts of their daughter, Colette Annalise McCaffrey, with their followers on social media. Culpo has also spoken with appreciation about becoming a new mother.
On the career front, she is also on the rise professionally. Olivia has a big hosting opportunity. She will be the host of “Next Gen Chef,” a new competition series on Netflix. The series is produced by LeBron James and Maverick Carter.
