Week 5 of the 2025 NFL season concludes tonight as the Jacksonville Jaguars (3-1) play host to the Kansas City Chiefs (2-2).
Tonight’s game could feature two AFC playoff teams and for that reason, a win for either sides very important.
The Jaguars are coming off of a 26-21 road victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 4, in a game where its defense caused four turnovers. The Jaguars’ defense caused the same amount of turnovers as Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw in the Chiefs’ Week 4 27-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens.
The Chiefs enter tonight’s game as slight favorites (-3.5 spread via ESPN.)
With many key players featured in tonight’s game, let’s take a look at must starts and must sits in fantasy:

Week 5 MNF Jaguars vs Chiefs Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Picks
Start ‘Em:
RB Travis Etienne
Entering Week 5, Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne is having one of the best seasons by any running back. Through four games, he’s rushed for 394 yards- or 98.5 yards per game and has scored two rushing touchdowns.
Etienne has rushed for 50+ yards in each of the four games and has 10 targets as a receiver this season.
WR Xavier Worthy
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy made his real season debut vs. Baltimore Ravens last week, after getting hurt on the first series of the team’s season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers. In his debut, he had five catches on eight targets for 83 yards. He also ran for 38 yards on two carries.
Worthy could emerge as Mahomes’ No. 1 target, especially with Rashee Rice still out.
Sit ‘Em:
WR Travis Hunter
Travis Hunter has the second most receptions and third most targets. That being said, he hasn’t proved himself to be an elite playmaker at WR, catching no more than six receptions in a game and having a season-high 42 receiving yards in a game.
It’s a mystery each week how the Jaguars will utilize Hunter on either side of the ball, and with that said, he’s never the safest pick in fantasy.
RB Isiah Pacheco
The Kansas City Chiefs need more out of their run game. Through four games, Mahomes currently leads the team in rushing yards with 130 as a quarterback. Starting running back Isiah Pacheco has played subpar- averaging just 4.0 yards per carry with 127 yards and just on touchdown scored (receiving.)
Pacheco played his lowest snap count of the season last week (37%)
Must starts:
RB Travis Etienne
TE Brenton Strange
WR Xavier Worthy
Must sits:
WR Travis Hunter
QB Trevor Lawrence
RB Isiah Pacheco
