Charlie Kirk’s death has sent shockwaves across the world. Kirk, 31, was addressing an outdoor crowd in Utah at Utah Valley University for his “Prove Me Wrong” debate when he was shot in the neck. He was shortly pronounced dead.
Following his death, prayers, condolences, and concerns have been conveyed by countless influential individuals. Several NFL stars condemned the act of violence that took Kirk’s life. Ladd McConkey, wide receiver for the Los Angeles Chargers, took to Instagram to offer prayers for Kirk’s family.
“Speechless…Prayers for his family,” McConkey wrote on his Instagram story.

Tim Tebow posted a long message on X, expressing his shock and sadness over Charlie Kirk’s murder.
“I’m shocked and devastated to learn about the passing of Charlie Kirk,” Tebow wrote. “Above all else, Charlie was a follower of Jesus, a husband, and a dad. He was a man of passion, courage, and devotion to making an eternal impact.”

Robert Griffin III posted multiple messages on X, stating that he was disturbed by the news and imagery.

RGIII wrote that it’s okay to disagree with someone’s political views as it’s a necessity for co-existence, but resorting to violence is never the answer for anything.
Giants’ quarterback Jaxson Dart reposted an image of Kirk on his Instagram story and offered prayers for his family.
“May god watch over him and his family!” Dart wrote.

Kicker for the Kansas City Chiefs, Harrison Butker, posted his personal messages that he had exchanged with Kirk.
“Thank you for your strong witness for Christ, Charlie,” Butker wrote in a caption. “Thank you for pursuing truth and leading your family as a husband and father.”

President Donald Trump to Honor Charlie Kirk Posthumously
During the Sept. 11 remembrance event at the Pentagon, President Donald Trump gave a speech. He touched upon the “heinous assassination” of the conservative activist and announced that Kirk will be honored posthumously.
“We miss him greatly yet I have no doubt that Charlie’s voice and the courage he put into the hearts of countless people, especially young people, will live on. I’m pleased to announce that I will soon be awarding Charlie Kirk posthumously the Medal of Freedom,” CBS NEWS reported.
During his speech, the president stated that Kirk was an inspiration to millions of people and an important voice of his generation. So far, the shooter hasn’t been caught, while the authorities were able to recover the weapon used for the assassination.
