College football insiders David Pollack and Brent Rollins recently discussed who they believe should be the cover athlete for the 2026 edition of EA Sports College Football. While appearing on the popular “David Pollack College Football” YouTube channel, one of the men highlighted how they should have Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning on the cover.
Who Does David Pollack Think Should Be on the Cover of EA College Football 26?
EA Sports College Football 25 was a huge success among football and video game fans alike. As a result, it was announced that the game would be renewed for another season. Last year’s version featured three players on the cover—something both individuals considered when giving their predictions for this year’s game.
The players featured on last year’s cover were Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers, Michigan Wolverines running back Donovan Edwards, and Colorado Buffaloes dual-threat wide receiver and cornerback Travis Hunter.
Pollack made it clear that if three players grace the cover of this year’s game, they should be Manning, Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver Ryan Williams, and Ohio State Buckeyes wide receiver Jeremiah Smith.
“If you made me do three, I’d go Arch Manning. I’d go Ryan Williams. And, I’d go Jeremiah Smith,” Pollack explained.
Arch Manning, Ryan Williams, and Jeremiah Smith Future Outlook
Manning served as Ewers’ backup quarterback in 2024, but this season, he is set to become the Longhorns’ starting signal-caller. In limited game time this past year, he recorded 939 passing yards, 13 total touchdowns, and only two interceptions.
Meanwhile, Williams had a great campaign as a freshman with the Crimson Tide. He tallied 48 receptions for 865 receiving yards and added 10 total touchdowns to his impressive numbers.

Finally, Smith had a phenomenal freshman year with the Buckeyes. He finished with 76 receptions for 1,315 receiving yards and a whopping 16 total touchdowns.
It’s clear that all three players will be amongst the best in college football in 2025 and are unquestionably worthy of gracing the cover of the upcoming EA Sports game, a sentiment shared by Pollack in his statements earlier in the week.
