The Arch Manning hype is unlike anything else we’ve seen in recent college football history. While some analysts already crown him as a Heisman trophy contender this year, others don’t believe we’ve seen enough of him to make these claims.
Manning has only started in two games in his whole college career when Quinn Ewers was out on an injury in the 2024 college football season.
After Paul Finebaum’s massive claims about Manning being the best quarterback we’ve seen since Tim Tebow went viral, Cam Newton shared his two cents on his football journey.
Newton appreciated the fact that the Manning family stuck to the process and spent two years developing at Texas rather than going after a quick starting job.
Reacting to these statements, fans shared their opinions on X:
“Same dude that said tom Brady is a game manager. An elite game manager. Cam just be yourself don’t try so hard and show respect,” one fan shared blunt thoughts on Newton’s take.
“Cam d*ck riding cuz arch ain’t prove shit yet that’s why he sat behind qwen and honestly against real talent #Georgiabulldogs Arch look like trash but he supposed to run the SEC but y’all say his last name ain’t got nothing to Do with it AIGHT,” another fan expressed frustration.
“Solid gold takes by Cam. Well done sir. Many, many kids and their families need to hear this,” another fan took Newton’s side.

“SPITTTTTIN!!! Listen to the message kids!!! Stop leaving schools cause you ain’t start as a fresh. Develop, get bigger, stronger, faster, mature!!! It’s all about them last 2 years not the first,” another fan wrote.
“The mannings set this play up perfectly . Reason they chose Texas,” another fan added.

Paul Finebaum Endorses Arch Manning for 2025 Heisman Honor
Despite having spent minimal time on the field, the expectations from Arch Manning to be the “best quarterback” is through the roof.
In his latest take, Finebaum said that there’s a reasonably good chance that the Texas quarterback will be sitting in the front row in New York at the Heisman ceremony, assuming he does what his team needs him to do and they compete for not just the SEC championship but for the national title this year.
Finebaum also said that Manning is the best quarterback the college football world has seen since Tim Tebow’s time at Florida, who took the team to two national championship titles along with two SEC championships.
