Adam Breneman shared his top five players set for huge comebacks in the 2025 season, with the top pick being a familiar choice.

Breneman’s Top Five “Bounce-Back” Players Include Two Key Quarterbacks
On Friday, May 30, college football analyst Adam Breneman went on Instagram to share his list of the top five players he feels are set to have a tremendous spring forward in the 2025 season. The list includes two much-discussed quarterbacks in the offseason.

He kicked things off by naming cornerback Tacario Davis from the University of Washington in the fifth spot, noting his standout performance while at the University of Arizona last season that made him one of the Huskies’ prized transfer portal acquisitions. He joins Ephesians Prysock, also at Arizona, to form the “Twin Towers” backfield.
Breneman next named wide receiver KC Concepion at number four. Concepcion, who is part of the huge class of transfers that the Texas A&M Aggies landed, had a strong season for NC State as a true freshman in 2023 with 71 catches and produced 839 receiving yards, 320 rushing yards, and 10 touchdowns.
Edge Harold Perkins’ return to LSU influenced Breneman’s picking him for the third slot on the list. “People forget how dominant he was his freshman year,” he said while noting how the Tigers didn’t utilize him properly in the 2024 season. “Now we’re moving him to the star position. Do not sleep on him.”
Quarterbacks snatched the top two spots on Breneman’s list, beginning with Miller Moss of Louisville. “Never easy to be the guy after the guy,” Breneman said of Moss’ transfer, spurred by the rise of now-Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams. “Now he’s at Louisville with Jeff Brohm, who got Tyler Shough drafted in the second round.”

Miami’s Carson Beck tops the list, with Breneman starting off by dubbing him “everyone’s favorite, not favorite quarterback.” He went on to say that the 2025 season should be the “Carson Beck Redemption Tour.”
