The Michigan Wolverines football program is once again in the news. However, it has nothing to do with their current roster or performance last season. Instead, it involves the ongoing sign-stealing scandal and the legal fallout that may occur from the incident.

What Did R.J. Young Say About the Michigan Scandal?
As a result, college football analyst R.J. Young discussed the latest news on his YouTube channel, “The Number One College Football Show,” earlier in the week.
It was reported over the past few weeks that the Wolverines would be attempting to push back and challenge the sanctions by the NCAA, the governing body of college sports in the United States.
Among other things, the school wants the NCAA to release the name or names of the people releasing information on the situation, all of which have remainded anonymous to this point.
Young made clear that he thought that this process may get dragged out and delayed by the recent news of Michigan challenging and pushing back against the sanctions. He highlighted a lesson he was taught when he was younger, one about whether finding the outcome is even worth it if it is going to take large amounts of resources and time.
Young stated, “Maybe you ought to think about where you’re dropping the goods and whether or not that’s worth it or as my daddy would once say, when I absolutely, positively was going to have my way, he would say, ‘Is the juice worth to squeeze. Is it? Is the juice worth to squeeze?’
“And the answer to the question is almost never my guy, it’s almost never worth the squeeze. It’s almost always more trouble than it is worth. And I think that is what Michigan’s strategy is becoming here.”
What Will Happen With the Michigan Sign-Stealing Scandal?
At this point, it is unclear how the Michigan sign-stealing scandal will fully play out from a legal perspective. A large portion of the players and staff who were with the Wolverines during the time in question have moved on to new ventures, either in college football or the NFL.
