Central Michigan Chippewas Depth Chart
The Central Michigan Chippewas football team represents Central Michigan University and competes in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). They are a member of the Mid-American Conference (MAC). The Chippewas play their home games at Kelly/Shorts Stadium, located in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. The stadium has been the home of the Chippewas since 1972 and is known for its vibrant game day atmosphere, especially with the "Fire Up Chips!" chant echoing through the stands.
The team's colors are maroon and gold, and their mascot is a costumed character named 'Chip'. The Chippewas' fight song, 'Fight Central', and the tradition of firing a cannon after every touchdown are integral parts of the game-day experience at Kelly/Shorts Stadium.
