Conservative activist Charlie Kirk was shot dead at an event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday. Kirk, 31, was the co-founder of Turning Point USA. Since his death, condolences have poured in from all over the world.
Kirk was best known for his debates that he held across campuses nationwide. He was doing the same thing in Utah when the incident happened. He was speaking to a large outdoor crowd, doing his “Prove Me Wrong” debate, when he was shot in the neck. He was shortly pronounced dead.
The Cavinder Twins took to Instagram to condemn the act.
“An act of evil,” they wrote on the Cavinder Twins Instagram account. “Praying for his family and kids. Absolutely sickening and heartbreaking. Rest in peace Charlie.”

Ole Miss Football head coach Lane Kiffin shared an old video of Kirk talking to a crowd. In the video, he spoke about respecting and honoring parents.
“It is the only commandment, honor your mother and father,” Kirk said in the video. “So that you may live long in the land of which you are in.”

Nick Saban’s daughter, Kristen Saban, posted a picture of Kirk with his family, wife and two kids, to offer her prayers.
“Praying for the entire Kirk family,” Kristen wrote. “This isn’t political anymore. This is senseless, heinous, and evil. A 31 year old man, a father, a husband, a son, a friend…gone. Look to god.”

LSU’s Garrett Nussmeier reposted several stories remembering Kirk.
“Pray for Charlie Kirk,” a post he reshared from Team Trump read.

Rebels’ Alex Orji expressed his frustration over what happened in Utah. He shared the news of Kirk’s death with a message.
“That’s messed up fr,” Orji wrote. “Prayers for his family.”

Pat McAfee took to X to share a long, heartfelt post.
“I’m not a political person but I am a proud American citizen and today was startling, saddening, and maddening all at the same time,” McAfee wrote.
