The Miami Hurricanes of Carson Beck continued their incredible season this weekend, with a commanding victory over the Stanford Cardinal, 42-7. While the Cardinal managed to score first, from the second quarter onwards, the Canes managed to shut them out completely.

Carson Beck didn’t have the best of games, however, with him having a low yardage of 189 yards and one touchdown pass. He was indeed highly accurate, with a completion percentage of 75%, completing 21 of 28 pass attempts.
There to celebrate with him was his sister, Kylie Beck. She posted a picture of both of them in Miami Hurricanes outfits in the stadium parking lot after the victory. She added the following caption to the post:
“fam!!”
Kylie initially studied at the University of Georgia while her brother was playing quarterback there. She was one of the Bulldogs cheerleaders. Following her brother’s move to Miami, she followed suit and left Georgia. She did communicate to her followers that she was moving back to Florida, although it’s unknown if she has transferred to the University of Miami. Beck’s family resides in Florida, as they’re natives of Jacksonville.
She has also started a fledgling career as a writer, publishing a book.

Carson Beck On The Win Against Stanford
Carson Beck spoke with the press in the aftermath of the game, and while he spoke about his own performance and about how happy he was to be able to add a touchdown pass, he emphasized the role the defense played in the victory:
“That was huge for us. Again, in those rainy conditions, where it’s just tough nose football, and they’re kind of playing back, trying to create kind of a net where it’s tough to get explosive plays, and you kind of just got to ground it down, play quick game and get quick screens and things of that sort. To be able to get a touchdown there at the end was honestly huge. And our defense played amazing in the first half, to be able to keep it so close. And then ultimately, you know, coming out of half, we were able to kind of turn it up a little bit, start rolling. That was big for the momentum, and just kind of get our feet set.”
It’s true that for such a blowout victory, Beck didn’t contribute incredible numbers, but he managed another solid performance to remain in the Heisman conversation.
