Carson Beck is currently one of college football’s best in-form players. Following a critical win against Florida State Seminoles, the Hurricanes’ star quarterback went to Instagram and shared a few pictures of the game with a caption that read: “the story continues.”

The post perfectly captured the emotion of the team after her win against the Florida State Seminoles. But, it was Beck’s sister, Kylie Beck, who put the sentiment that really captured the feeling about Beck’s stellar season when she commented, “it’s just the beginning 🙌”.
Her comment indicates Beck’s recent success as he has become one of the stars for the Hurricanes this year. In the matchup with Florida State, Beck put the Hurricanes in position for a 28-22 win in dramatic fashion while running the offense.
He also threw for a superb 241 yards on 20 of 27 passing against the Seminoles. However, possibly the most impressive detail was that he had four touchdown passes with precision and composure. It was a statement game for both the quarterback as well as the football program as they went 5-0 this season.
Miami’s Perfect 5-0 Record Shows How Much Beck Means to the Team
Beck’s road to Miami is a considerable journey as he transferred from the Georgia Bulldogs and has had to clear a significant hurdle. He also underwent an UCL surgery in late 2024.
Yet, Beck has shown no ill effects from the injury. In a short period of time, he is firmly establishing himself as one of the country’s top talents. He has been remarkably consistent through five games. Beck, in total, has thrown for 1,212 yards, 11 touchdowns, and three interceptions, also completing 73.4% of his passes.
Beck is crucial for the Hurricanes in what has been an unreal season up to this point. The team now stands at 5-0 and is currently ranked No. 2 in the AP Poll behind Ohio State.
The resume Miami has put together is no doubt among the better ones in the country. They are the only Power 4 team to have three wins over ranked opponents this year. This has confirmed them as one of College Football’s legitimate Playoff candidates.
