Carson Beck enters Thanksgiving week with plenty on his shoulders as Miami looks ahead to a crucial matchup against the Pittsburgh Panthers tomorrow. The Hurricanes have pushed themselves back into national relevance this season, and Beck has been at the center of their rise.
He has thrown for more than 2,800 yards, added 22 touchdowns, and kept Miami competitive even through stretches where the offense stalled. Those midseason struggles forced changes in rhythm and approach, and now the team sits in a strong position at 9–2 with a chance to close out the year with momentum.
While Beck prepares for another key start, his sister, Kylie Beck, marked the holiday in her own way. She posted a set of Instagram photos dressed in a sleek black dress, open-shoulder leather jacket, and minimal accessories, striking a confident pose on a wooden dock surrounded by calm water and fall colors.
She captioned the post celebrating the season of gratitude, drawing supportive comments from friends, family and Miami fans who have come to appreciate her vocal support for her brother.

Kylie has been one of Carson’s most visible supporters on social media since his transfer to Miami, often reposting highlights, celebrating big wins, and showing up for games even when the Hurricanes went through tougher stretches.
Miami needs a strong finish, and Beck’s stability at quarterback will play a huge role against a Pittsburgh team known for physical defense. The Hurricanes are searching for a clean offensive showing after flashes of inconsistency earlier in the year, and Beck’s experience is expected to steady the group in a game they cannot afford to overlook.

Carson Beck on Miami’s Improved Offense
Beck has spoken about the turnaround Miami’s offense has made since the middle of the season. At one point, the unit struggled to finish drives, protect the ball, and maintain tempo. Mistakes at key moments cost them rhythm, and the lack of continuity put pressure on both Beck and the coaching staff to adjust.
Beck explained that the group has since found better rhythm and trust. Improved line play has given him more time, receivers have cleaned up timing issues, and the play-calling has leaned into what Beck does best.
“I just think it’s an offense just collectively as an offense, we’ve been executing, and we’ve eliminated negative plays, RPO, we’ve really done a really good job of playing discipline, but still playing fast and being explosive, which can be challenging to do at times,” Beck said. “So I mean, offensively we’ve been playing really, really well, and just looking to do that, you know, as we head into this game.”
The Hurricanes’ recent efficiency backs that up. Beck’s accuracy has ticked upward, and the overall development is evident in their three-game unbeaten streak. Miami looks more balanced, more secure, and more confident heading into the final stretch of the season.
