Can Oregon Ducks Beat Indiana Hoosiers in the CFP Semifinals at the Peach Bowl?

The Indiana Hoosiers have brushed aside every team that they have come across, and at the Peach Bowl, the Oregon Ducks must beat them to reach the national finals. The Hoosiers have remained undefeated all season, and they have Heisman winner Fernando Mendoza leading them, making the team look even more unstoppable. The question is, can the Ducks pull off the upset?

DraftKings currently has Indiana as the -3.5 (-112) favorites, with the moneyline being -180 for the Hoosiers and +150 for the Ducks, which means that yes, they have a chance to win and it is not considered that much of a longshot, but they would have to dig deep to overcome Indiana and all that momentum that the team has built so far.

The last time Oregon and Indiana met, it was on their home field, and it was the Hoosiers who came out on top, 30-20, with the Indiana offense running wild while the Indiana defense went on to stop the Ducks’ offense. This time, both teams are coming in with a lot of momentum after one-sided wins, with the Hoosiers demolishing Indiana 38-3, while Oregon shut out higher-ranked Texas Tech, 23-0.

Oregon must come out swinging, both on offense and on defense. Put the pressure on Indiana and target Mendoza as much as possible, not letting the Hoosiers get a head of steam and force them to make mistakes. Indiana has been calm, cool and collected all season long, but if taken off rhythm, they might start panicking.

It is still a tall order for Oregon, but they can win if they turn up the pressure on both offense and defense.

Oregon Ducks To Debut New Uniforms During Peach Bowl vs. Indiana

While the Oregon Ducks are entering as the obvious underdogs for the upcoming Peach Bowl, the team is set to debut new uniforms during that game. The Ducks are famously backed by Phil Knight, the founder of Nike, and these new threads are, in fact, from that sports brand.

As the new jersey reveal has shown, the Ducks will be fielding a new white uniform with green helmets, with the green helmets also featuring some gold wings, with the players also sporting white socks and white cleats with green trim.
