Carson Beck Feels Blessed Ahead of Fiesta Bowl Matchup

Had he not suffered the injury in last season’s SEC Championship game, Carson Beck might have been in the NFL already. However, the injury led him to forego his NFL draft declaration, and instead, he took a transfer to Miami, where in his first season, he was able to lead his team into the playoffs.

Ahead of the Fiesta Bowl matchup, Beck shared his gratitude, saying he can’t believe he would make it this far.

“At the time, it would have been impossible to see all this,” Beck said. “To see the light at the end of the tunnel. But to be sitting here now, I’m really, really blessed.”

Beck appeared confident with his team and believes they have what it takes to beat Ole Miss.

“We believed in ourselves and our capabilities,” Beck said. “When they put our name up there and gave us a chance, we’ve just tried to take advantage of every opportunity.”

It remains to be seen if Beck can lead Miami to the big game.
