“Disaster Will Strike”: Cam Newton Bluntly Warns Arch Manning Amid Ball Secruity Struggles in 2025

Arch Manning’s hype that the analysts created in the 2025 offseason has been coming back to bite the Texas quarterback. While people expected him to struggle a little bit in his debut against Ohio State, the next three games were underwhelming for the fans as well.

Manning was projected to be one of the best quarterbacks we’ve seen in a decade, according to analyst Paul Finebaum, who also compared the Longhorns star to Tim Tebow, who is considered one of the top college football players to ever set foot in the game.

While some analysts, like Jordan Rodgers, cautioned the fans about the Manning hype being too much and advised them to wait on their verdict till they see him in action, others got on the hype train without a second thought.

During his latest analysis, Cam Newton sent out a stern warning for Arch Manning on Sunday:

“Looking at Arch ball play, he’s missing. This has nothing to do with Steve Sarkisian. The plays are there. It now comes down to the skill of the quarterback to do your job.
Do not make matters worse when you see those clips of him scrambling around and he’s trying to make a play. And I always say it, baby, trying to make a play can mess up the play. Throw the ball out of bounds, bro. Do not make matters worse.
Do not put the ball in jeopardy.” (6:55)

“Ball security is job security. And when you start throwing the ball up for grabs and you start throwing the ball in team meetings, bro, disaster will strike.
And I don’t know how much patience people have with anybody, especially with Arch,” he added.

Arch Manning Reveals Mom’s Reaction to Aggressive TD Celebration

During Texas’ week 4 game against Sam Houston, there was a moment when Antavious Fish missed a tackle at the goal line and ended up into the end zone as with Arch Manning taunting him as he looked down on his opponent to celebrate.

Manning received a lot of flak for his actions on the field due to this incident, which he later addressed in a post-game press conference. According to him, while it felt good to get back in the end zone, it was probably a little too much in terms of celebration.

“My mom was pretty mad about that. Little immature, but I think it’s some built-up frustration for the past few weeks,” Manning said.
