Auburn running back Cam Coleman is currently in the transfer portal, with several teams vying to get his commitment. However, Coleman is also quite active on social media and his latest activity has raised some rumors as to where he will be going next. This is because Coleman just followed Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer, raising a few eyebrows in the process.
Now, this may just be Cam Coleman following a coach he admires, but with several schools trying to get him as the No. 1 wide receiver in the transfer portal, it has several Alabama fans rejoicing for yet another top tier wide receiver, as well as having fans of other teams worried that he might soon be going to Auburn’s eternal rival.
Making this commitment a bit complicated is that there are some rumors that Bama might be firing DeBoer soon, after falling in the Rose Bowl to No. 1 Indiana in one of the most lopsided playoff games so far, 38-3. This was a humiliating loss for the Crimson Tide, with many calling for DeBoer’s head while the game was still going on.
Should Alabama fire DeBoer after Cam Coleman has signed with Alabama, it should make things interesting, especially as the coach is known for his wide receiver development and losing the guy who recruited him could sour the current Auburn star with his new team quick.

Which Teams Are Considered The Finalists To Where Cam Coleman Could Land?
As the No. 1 wide receiver currently in the transfer portal, Cam Coleman has been talking to a lot of teams, including USC, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and Alabama, with him possibly going to another SEC team.
He has already visited Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and Alabama, with Coleman cancelling his visit to USC. He started following DeBoer after his trip to Tuscaloosa, which certainly had many now believing he would be going to Alabama, but other teams do not seem to have given up yet.
Both Texas A&M and Texas are reportedly still optimistic, with Texas A&M insider Billy Liucci admitting that Texas has the slight edge over the Aggies. For now, teams are still waiting for his decision, which could come any day now.
