“Break The Bank For Cam Coleman”: Fans Want Transfer Portal Help For Arch Manning As Texas WRs Drop Multiple Passes vs Michigan

Arch Manning’s Texas Longhorns haven’t had the season fans envisioned for them in the beginning. There were a lot of expectations, and that was justified because the Longhorns’ roster looked strong on paper.

But as the season has progressed, their flaws and shortcomings have taken center stage. The problems for Texas continued during the Cheez-It Bowl game against the Michigan Wolverines.

Wide receivers Ryan Wingo and Parker Livingstone have put up a disappointing performance so far in the Bowl game. A good outing here might’ve made fans forget about their season run, but the conversation about Texas’s WR depth and effectiveness has started once again.

With under 10 minutes to go in the third quarter, the Wolverines are leading 20-17. Fans who tuned in to see Texas get an easy win over Michigan are disappointed and are calling for some major changes.

“Texas fans want to go into next year with this Wideout Room. LMFAO. Ryan Wingo dropped touchdown. Parker Livingstone 2 drops in the first half. If we don’t break the bank for Cam Coleman we’re not serious about winning the National Championship. Arch Manning has one year left,” a fan wrote.

“I don’t understand not giving the younger receivers a chance at least. The drops are contagious,” a fan wrote.

“Save the money we were gonna use on RB and throw it at Cam. Wingo is straight dog sh*t,” a fan wrote.

“Everytime I turn Texas on Ryan Wingo is dropping the football,” a fan wrote.

“There’s no way we can go into next season with Ryan Wingo and Parker Livingstone as our top options. Their hands just aren’t good enough,” a fan wrote.

“Explaining to Ryan Wingo that WRs are supposed to catch the ball,” a fan wrote.

Dropping touchdown passes when the team is desperate to end the season on a high note is an effective way of getting on fans’ nerves. The Longhorns’ WRs have managed to do that successfully in this game. Getting Cam Coleman from the transfer portal might help fix this problem.

Arch Manning Will Return with Texas Next Season

This was Manning’s first season with the Texas Longhorns as their starting quarterback. To say that he had high expectations riding on his shoulders would be an understatement. Texas fans were looking to win it all with him this season.

Unfortunately, nothing has gone their way. Despite Manning’s over 2900 yards season, he had a lot of ups and downs, and that inconsistency derailed Texas’ season very early on.

The Bowl game against Michigan would be the last outing for the Texas Longhorns this season. Manning is slated to return next season with the Longhorns and make one last run for the title in college football before he joins the NFL.
