The Buffalo Bills vs Miami Dolphins matchup is a divisional game between two teams that, at the start of the season, had playoff hopes. While the Bills appear to be Super Bowl contenders, the Dolphins are in the mix as one of the worst-performing teams through the first two weeks of the season.
While the Bills and Dolphins are in two very different spots, they both still have viable starting options, including star players like wide receiver Tyreek Hill and running back De’von Achane. Here is a look at some of the start and sit options for fantasy football this week in this matchup.

Start ‘Em or Sit ‘Em: Buffalo Bills vs Miami Dolphins
Start ‘Em
Wide receiver Tyreek Hill entered the season as one of the top wide receiver options in fantasy football. However, he struggled in Week 1 and did not look like his old self. He improved in Week 2, catching six of his seven targets. Even in a struggling Dolphins offense, he should still be started unless you have the deepest wide receiver group in your fantasy league.

Over the first two games, running back De’Von Achane only averaged nine carries per game. While he could still struggle against the Bills’ offense, most fantasy players are unlikely to have another running back who is a better starting option.
On the side of the Bills, quarterback Josh Allen is an obvious start. Additionally, running back James Cook has proved to be a valuable option to fantasy owners and should continue to be started over most other running backs.
Sit ‘Em
According to Yahoo, Miami has the worst defense in the league through the first two weeks of the season. In a game against a stellar offense like the Bills, fantasy owners should refrain from starting the Dolphins’ defense this week. They are likely better off avoiding their defense altogether until they prove themselves more capable.
The Bills do not have any offensive options that should be sat against Miami if you would normally start them. The Dolphins appear to be one of the worst teams in the league this year, so the Bills’ offense is likely to thrive.
