Safety Shilo Sanders was not selected in the 2025 NFL draft. Unlike Deion Sanders’ other son, QB Shedeur Sanders, Shilo needed to sign as an undrafted free agent. Fortunately for him, he quickly signed a deal to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
On Friday morning, a video was posted on X of Shilo Sanders interacting with some fans in Tampa. In the first part of the video, Sanders is inside, speaking with a woman who is excited to have the 25-year-old in her city.
Shilo Sanders corrects her by calling himself Deion Sanders’ favorite son. The woman corrects herself before telling Shilo how much she believes in him.
“We got Deion Sanders’ favorite son in our city! Man, you better show out on that field, my money gonna be on you every time!”
Another fan spoke to Shilo Sanders, telling Shilo he’s going to be the steal of this year’s draft class.
“You gonna be the steal! The steal! You gonna be the steal! This is the steal baby! This is the steal! We stole Shilo! Can’t nobody stop us! Back to back to back to back and we going to the Super Bowl! Can’t nobody stop us!”
Shilo jokingly told the fan that he looks like how Coach Prime is going to look in a few years.

Shilo could be seen having a lot of fun in his interactions with the fans. With the man, he was even jumping up and down all over the parking lot while the fan got excited.
Shilo Sanders Takes a Shot at His Brother, Shedeur Sanders, After His Speeding Ticket
Shilo Sanders always likes to have fun, whether it is interacting with fans, the media, or his family. His brother, Shedeur Sanders, got in a bit of trouble earlier this month for getting two citations for speeding. He was reportedly driving 101 miles per hour in a 60 miles per hour zone.
While this was a reckless act that could have been dangerous, Shilo took the time to joke about it a few days later. On Sunday, Shilo uploaded a new video on his YouTube channel, doing a food tour in Tampa. In the video, he joked about needing to be safe while crossing the street:
“I know we out here in Tampa we got to be careful crossing the street, especially if Shedeur is out here.”

Shedeur is a member of the Cleveland Browns after getting selected in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL draft.
