The Boise State Broncos revealed their 2024 Mountain West conference championship rings, and they’re absolutely incredible.
The rings feature a blue Bronco in front of two diamond footballs, with the words “Mountain West Champions” in gold text on an orange background. One side of the ring commemorates the Broncos’ 2024 Mountain West championship, in which the Broncos defeated UNLV 21-7. The ring also opens up, revealing the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl logo and the College Football Playoff logo, showing both the Broncos and Penn State Nittany Lions’ logos.

The rings also include the phrase “put the ball down,” which Boise State head coach Spencer Danielson preached to his team before their CFP Quarterfinal matchup against Penn State.

“On either side, you got to block the outside noise, and I believe that. Please count us out. That’s what Boise State football is built on, is people thinking we can’t do something, and we work our tails off to find a way to prove people wrong. I believe in our team, and we use the phrase ‘put the ball down.’ Doesn’t matter the stadium or what fans are there. On the 31st, put the ball down. We’re going to be ready,” Danielson said.
The bottom of the ring reads “C.L.I.M.B.” the mantra Danielson pushed to the team all year.
“We’ve talked about it a lot prior to know, all right. C.L.I.M.B.,” Danielson told the team. “It’s around the building we talk about it. It’s not something that I’m going to test you on or just another thing for you to remember. This is our lifestyle here. These are our values. Because as a young man, life is not about the mountaintop. It’s not about just that one experience. It is about the journey. It is about wherever you’re climbing to.”

“Because football is going to end for everybody in this room. And I promise you it will end before you want it to. It will end before you want it to. Might be after playing at Boise State football. Might be after seven or eight years, 10 years in the NFL. But it will end. What’s next? So we’re creating that mentality as a team. That’s who we are, we’re on a journey right now. Yes, as a team we are on a journey.”
