The FAU Stadium in Boca Raton, Florida, will be hosting the showdown between the Toledo Rockets and the Louisville Cardinals for the Boca Raton Bowl. Both teams are coming in with 8-4 records and generally doing well all season, but were just not good enough to even crack that top 25 and get into the College Football Playoffs. That being said, both teams get the honor of playing in a bowl game, though some players may be missing.
With several players now declaring for the transfer portal, as well as a few people getting injured throughout the season, a few players are expected to miss the game, either via opt-out or injury. The Boca Raton Bowl is no different, though several players possibly missing the game who could have opted out of the game decided not to.
