“Stop Making This A Black-White Thing”: Cam Newton Gets 100% Real On Sherrone Moore’s Scandal At Michigan

Sherrone Moore’s scandal at Michigan has led to his firing from the program, following his two-year tenure as head coach, which began after he succeeded Jim Harbaugh following the 2023 national championship win.

The ex Michigan head coach was dismissed due to his inappropriate relationship with a staff member working under him, Paige Shiver, while he was married with three kids to his wife, Kelly Moore.

Not only Moore is facing felony charges, he lost $13,000,000 in buyout money, which he would’ve gotten if he was fired without cause.

While many analysts have condemend Moore’s activities, Cam Newton took a moment to send a bold message to people who are making it about the race, advising them to not do so since the fired Michigan head coach isn’t the only one to have an affair.

“We got to stop making this a black-white thing, bro. We all know the synonyms that’s used. He shouldn’t have been. Look, bro, I’m a realist. Every person that’s white is not a racist. Every white female or white woman that’s dating a African-American does not always have bad intentions to that specific person and vice versa,” Newton said on the latest video on his channel 4th & 1 With Cam Newton (1:00).

“Sherrone Moore, Coach Moore, respectfully, you learn, you got slapped on your wrist. Hopefully everything work out for you, brother. But to say that he’s done forever, no. Because there’s been other coaches, huh? Don’t just sit up there and take Sherrone Moore and use him as the pinata here and just hit him while he down and out because there’s been other coaches that done had affairs,” he added.
