North Carolina Tar Heels head coach Bill Belichick has been unable to stay out of the news since his arrival at UNC this past offseason. He was expected to be a positive signing for the Tar Heels, but the noise off the field surrounding Belichick has been significant. Now the team is struggling on the field as well.
On Wednesday, Pablo Torre spoke about how it has been confirmed that Hulu pulled out of a UNC football series that was going to star Bill Belichick. However, Torre also mentioned that this is the second series that has been reportedly cancelled that Belichick was supposed to host. Torre spoke about a lesser-known project that was cancelled, where Belichick would have been the host.
“The Hulu docuseries, which has been reported, yes that is dead, but it is not the only North Carolina football show Bill Belichick was supposed to star in which also has not seen the light of day,” Pablo Torre said (Timestamp 14:50). “There was another show, the second show idea, that was to be hosted by Bill Belichick.”

Pablo Torre Drops Unseen Footage of Jordon Hudson and Bill Belichick Shooting an NFL Films Show
Pablo Torre had a lot of information about Bill Belichick on his show on Friday. He released an unseen clip of Bill Belichick and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, preparing to shoot an NFL Films show. In the clip, Hudson can be seen telling Belichick to make changes to the talking points, even though Belichick is speaking about his area of expertise, football. She also speaks to the production team about making adjustments to the graphics.
Torre made a blunt statement about what this clip revealed about the dynamic between Belichick and Hudson.
“This is what the power dynamic is like around Bill Belichick,” Pablo Torre said.
Belichick has been criticized since his arrival at UNC for Hudson’s apparent involvement in his professional life. If the Tar Heels were winning, this likely would not be as much of an issue. However, the team is off to a 2-3 start and does not look competitive in many of its games.
